LendenClub is an online marketplace which allows borrowers to get loans from individual lenders. It offers borrowers, personal installment loans starting from INR 25,000 to INR 5,00,000 for a period of 3 months to 24 months. Lenders can invest as low as INR 2000 and earn returns up to 35% (average returns of 25%). Users need to register themselves as lenders or borrowers on the platform by providing their KYC details. The platform conducts a credit check using various sources & proprietary technology. Loans are usually approved within 18 hrs and disbursed within 24 hrs to 30 days. The platform charges borrowers a registration fee of INR 750 and a loan processing fee of 4% of the loan amount or INR 2000 whichever is higher. Lenders are charged a registration fee of INR 500 and a facilitation fee ranging from 1-3% depending on the interest received.
