Biosense Technologies is a medical device company developing products which are non-invasive, portable, point-of-care screening and monitoring that measure haemoglobin, oxygen saturation, temperature and pulse. Its product SuChek helps to track blood sugar levels. Its uChek is a platform technology for urine analysis and blood sugar test. Its product ToucHb is a needle free anaemia screening tool which can estimate haemoglobin and determine oxygen saturation and heart rate without needles. The startup follows a B2B model and sells these devices to clinics/medical facilities. It is an incubatee of Centre of Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE), IIM-Ahmedabad and secured seed funding from the Echoing Green Foundation and Chennai-based Villgro, an organisation that invests in early-stage social startups. Global Super Angels invested $150k in March 2012.
