Vokal is a Bengaluru-based peer-to-peer knowledge and opinion-sharing platform for non-English Internet users. Users can ask questions using the voice/text option and knowledge contributors can respond in either mode to the same. The contents cover the areas of entertainment, news, information, and knowledge. The platform has a live video-streaming feature, where experts share their knowledge with users. Claims to have more than 300K questions on its platform and over 1,000 questions are asked every day on different topics, to date. As of January 2019, it is available in Hindi and plans to launch in multiple languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, Punjabi, and Oriya.
