Shotang, earlier Channelyst, is an on-cloud marketplace connecting retailers, distributors and manufacturers to fulfill their sourcing requirements. While Channelyst focused on connecting manufacturers/brands with distributors, Shotang is focused on connecting distributors with retailers. Enterprises can search, shortlist, discuss and select the distributor or partner through the platform. Products are categorized into apparel, home appliances, travel gear, telecom, automobiles and stationery. Primary categories are apparel and electronics. Runs its own supply-chain and delivery boys to deliver orders to retailers once transaction is complete. Works on commission paid by distributors per transaction. Has over 50k sellers and 130 companies in their network clocking over 3k transactions per week as of December, 2015.
